The Premier League is back with an almost full round of fixtures! That pesky League Cup Final means that Manchester United and Southampton’s respective fixtures have been postponed. Before I predict the eight fixtures going ahead this weekend a follow on Twitter @cameroneyles and a visit to the One Game at a Time homepage HERE would be great. Anyway on with the predicting!
Chelsea v Swansea City
Despite dropping points to Burnley last time out the title still is very much the Blues’ to lose. Swansea have been much improved under Paul Clement, with the Swans under Bob Bradley looking like they had already been relegated. I still think that Chelsea will have too much for the Welsh side.
Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough
This is a crucial match for both sides. Both should views this as a must win but especially Palace who will be in deep, deep trouble if they lose this. Its hard to chose between the two sides so I will go for a draw.
Everton v Sunderland
There’s not too much to say about this one, it should be a routine Everton victory as Moyes returns to his old club. I cannot see Sunderland pulling off a great escape this season I’m afraid.
Hull City v Burnley
Hull have to win this one. If they are serious about avoiding relegation, and Marco Silva certainly seems to be this is a must win against a Burnley team that has been abysmal away from home. I reckon the Tigers will do it.
West Brom v Bournemouth
The Cherries need to be careful they are not sucked into the relegation dogfight, although currently there is not too much danger of the going down. The Baggies have been impressive all season and should pick up another win here.
Watford v West Ham
The Hammers are well and truly back in form and things finally seem to be going there way again. Watford are a team that is impossible to predict, so I’ll take a punt and say they will lose this one but honestly its hard to call.
Tottenham v Stoke
Spurs need to get back on track a tad in the League and this is the perfect opportunity to do so. Stoke are a decent side, they have been for a number of years, but I think they will lose here.
Leicester v Liverpool
Despite getting that away goal in the UCL I still do not foresee a complete turn around quite yet for Leicester. Liverpool seem to have played there way back into form and should win this one.
Right that’s all this week and as always thanks for reading.
